We are a high end womenswear company looking for an apprentice production assistant to join their established team

This role has been created to assist the increasingly busy production department.  This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to have a positive impact on the development of the department, with an involvement in all aspects of the critical path.

 

You will be reporting directly to the Production Manager and responsibilities will include:

• Liaising with factories to ensure critical path dates are met
• Tracking fabric and component orders to ensure deadlines are met
• Liaising with courier and freight companies
• Monitoring fabric, label and component stocks
• Ordering garment packaging
• Allocating production fabric & components to the correct factories
• Assisting with garment QC
• General admin duties

 

You must have the following to be considered for this role:

• Good Excel and Outlook skills
• Effective communication skills with the internal team and external contacts
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Have a positive approach to problem solving
• Adaptability in a growing and developing business
