London-based designer Cristina Sabaiduc’s womenswear label focuses on feminine fabrics and conceptual, yet wearable garments. Inspired by the coexistence of industrial and natural elements in our environment, Cristina’s juxtaposition of materials in her collections has developed into an exploration of dualities—a visual commentary on relationships between a garment, its wearer, and the external world. This is highlighted in the combination of natural and technical fabrics—silks, nylon blends, and milk fibre, to name a few—created in each season’s exclusive digital print. The use of magnets is also a signature element in Cristina’s designs. With magnetic closures and detailing, classic silhouettes can be draped a multitude of ways, providing limitless possibilities for individual styling. Cristina’s studio and office is located a stones throw from Hoxton Station in the heart of East London.
