Get Creative This Half Term

Fancy trying your hand at sewing and design, jewellery making or photography then have a look at the daily sessions taking place in the borough of Wandsworth this half term. The festival, runs from the 15th October until the end of the month, and gives parents and carers the chance to learn new things alongside their children at special taster sessions.
Sessions at venues across the borough include:
- Sewing and design
- Parenting skills
- Internet safety
- Computer games design and coding
- Film and music technology
- Family photography
- Healthy eating
- Jewellery making
- Basic first aid
- Boxing
Cordelia Stewart is running the jewellery making session she said:
“I’m a true creative at heart and I’m delighted to be expanding our range of teaching roles with Wandsworth Council. I’m really looking forward to this new styled jewellery workshop and creating genuine pieces of art!”
Education spokesman Cllr Kathy Tracey added:
“This is a great chance for the whole family to spend time together and learn something new. We hope it will give local people a taste of some of the lifelong learning opportunities available all year round on their doorstep.”
