DWP East London to Support A New Generation of Stitchers

“How exciting!  We have won the Flexible Support Grant with DWP East London following the highly successful ‘Sew We Learn’ programme for our Stitching Academy Level 1 in North London!

“We are creating a whole new generation of stitchers, which is just what the fashion industry needs right now! Once anyone obtains these stitching skills to use industrial sewing machines the world is their oyster. They can create their own garments, collections and even develop their own bespoke couture pieces; the course provides essential garment knowledge that is often overlooked by today’s designers.  Everyone has to start somewhere so now anyone who is unemployed in East London can undertake our stitching courses for free!”
