In Video: A New Direction & Creativity Works Fashion Project

The project gives the participants an insightful, hands-on introduction into the fashion industry and explains all the various career options and opportunities available. When it came to production the Fashion Enter / Fashion Technology Academy team guided the group on making their own customised garments on industrial machines.
“I have really enjoyed myself on this course. I have picked up skills on pattern cutting, taking accurate measurements, overlocking and using the industrial machine in such a short space of time. The project culminated with the 12 talented participants showcasing their finished garments at the Creativity Works Breakfast at City Hall. View the video below to see the finished garments and to hear the comments the participants made about the project.
