MP David Lammy to Visit the Stitching Academy…

Following the success of the ASOS/FashionCapital Stitching Academy last week which was attended by the Minister of Employment, Mark Hoban, and a range of national press we are delighted that MP for Tottenham (London Borough of Haringey), David Lammy, will be attending and reviewing our launch initiative today.

FashionCapital / Fashion-Enter, has an established relationship with David Lammy; he was a great advocate of the apprenticeship programme and he always supported our ‘Stitch in Time’ programme which was in turn the forerunner to the opening of the Stitching Academy.

 

This afternoon, David Lammy, along with an invited group of individuals from press and industry will have a guided tour around the Factory and the Stitching Academy where they will have the chance to find out more about the programme; it’s aims and objectives as well as meet and talk with the current cohort of learners on the 6-week course.
