Three teaching unions have protested at changes planned by the government to their pensions; they will have to work longer years and hours and yet the benefits from their pension will still be lowered dramatically creating a long term affect when retired.
One major effect will be the Airports as staff began walking out on Wednesday at 6pm, so travelers should expect the worse with delays on the cards…
Luckily for UK Passengers flying out of the country will miss the consequences of the strike as they will be going through security staff that won’t be taking and action in the strike as they are employed through the airports.
It is estimated that a third of schools will be closed, a third partially affected and the other third to remain open with no issues from staff. The number of schools that will be affected reaches a collected total of 14,000!
