Julio Kent: Clothes
27-06-2012
This is deliberately antithetical to the nostalgia we’ve been seeing in seasons past. And it prevents you from looking like a 12-year-old at a wedding.
- I like this oufit because of the colour. The blue jacket, shoes and hat compliment the yellow t-shirt and brown shoes. It just shows the mixture of colours that work well together.
Trend: As a variation to structured tailoring, the hybrid between jacket and shirt was all over the Milan Paris catwalks. This is one of the hottest items for ss12 and is sure to be a commercial success.
- I especially like this outfit because it stands out perfectly. The red, to me, looks like a cool style it would be something that you’d wear when you are out with your friends.
Trend: In keeping with the laid-back feel of the season, soft tailoring is the only way to sport sartorial excellence for ss 12. Soft silhouettes, unlined jackets and low- rise trousers are perfect to keep cool in the summer heat. For this casual formal hybrid in linen, washed cotton and soft denim, the more crumpled the better.
- I like themaroon blazer with the matching trousers and the navy shirt, as it goes really well and stands out. It shows a smart/casual look l it would be really good for attending meetings for the fashion concious person.
Trend: Mellow Yellow. Today we make way for another major colour that has swamped the SS12 shows; the delighfully season-appropriate yellow.
