Summer uni Programme 1

 

Title: Academy of Arts

Date: 23rd July – 3rd August 2012

Age: 11- 15 Years

Time: 10am – 5pm

Venue Unit 37a Vicarage Field Shopping Centre & The Ripple Centre

Max Students: 40

 

Day 1: Introduction to Course, Teachers, Health & Safety, Theory Lesson on the Fashion Industry, Getting to know each other and 1-2-1 assessments.

 

Day 2: Practical & Theory lesson in Styling, Jewellery Design & Pattern making

 

Day 3: Theory Practical Lesson in Jewellery making

 

Day 4: Practical Lesson in Jewellery making

 

Day 5: Completion of Signature Jewelry piece and preparation for Garment Design & Pattern

 

Day 6: Practical lesson in Fashion which includes: Pattern making & Sewing

 

Day 7: Practical lesson in Fashion

 

Day 8: Practical lesson in fashion and completion of Signature Garment including styling with Signature Jewellery piece

 

Day 9: Modelling Theory & Practical lesson including confidence building, body language and the Modelling Industry

 

Day 10: Walk the Walk Modelling Day which includes preparation for their End of course Fashion Show

 

Summer Uni Programme 2

 

Title: Celeb Photography

Date: 13th – 17th August 2012

Age: 14-19 Years

Time: 10am – 4pm

Venue: The Ripple Centre

Max Students: 20

 

Day 1: Introduction to course & teachers, health and safety, Theory Lesson on Industry, getting to know each other and team bonding exercise

 

Day 2: Photography History/Theory & Preparation for mini portfolio

 

Day 3: Celebrity Day visit from a celebrity/ Olympic athlete / Model who has worked with tutor as well as celebrity hair & Make Up

 

Day 4: Photography Practical Lesson

 

Day 5: Practical Lesson in Photography & Completion of Portfolio for display

 

Summer Uni Programme 3

 

Title: Cheer leading Zumbathon

Date: 20th – 24th August 2012

Age: 11-19 Years

Time: 10am – 2pm

Venue: The Ripple Centre

Max Students: 30

 

Day 1: Introduction to Zumba & Cheer. Health & Safety. Getting to know each other

 

Day 2: Learning the moves: Practical Lesson

 

Day 3: Practical Lesson & Choreography for show

 

Day 4: Practical Lesson for show

 

Day 5: Practical Lesson for show and day of performance including information on possible competition entries
