This pathway in fashion and textiles gives students the opportunity to work in either  discipline or to combine the two fields of study. Students may select different projects in fashion or textiles as they progress; this enables a personal and individual approach.

Students are encouraged to explore their potential through a variety of live projects and national competitions.  Recent graduates have won awards and prizes in fashion and bridal wear, illustration and accessory design. The department has links with industry and the profession, offering students a range of both fashion and textile work placements. Catwalk shows and exhibitions give students the appropriate platform to present their work such as Alternative Fashion Week, Graduate Fashion Week and New Designers.
