PHOTOSHOP FOR FASHION & TEXTILE DESIGNERS
NewCAD Award level 3
This is an 8-week self-contained course aimed at fashion & textile designers who wish to develop an advanced level of Photoshop skills to support their own career development. Learners should have already completed Level 2 or have the necessary previous experience. This programme will introduce students to the more advanced Photoshop techniques including:- scanning, retouching and cropping, creating clipping paths and masks, applying colour, texture and patterns, creating new images , applying Photoshop to commercial designs

ILLUSTRATOR FOR FASHION & TEXTILE DESIGNERS
NewCAD Award level 3
This is an 8-week self-contained course aimed at fashion & textile designers who wish to develop an advanced level of Illustrator skills to support their own career development. Learners should have already completed Level 2 or have the necessary experience. This programme will introduce students to the more advanced Illustrator techniques including:- producing pattern making, illustration, logo designs, desk top publishing, producing multi layered images

LECTRA KALEDO STYLE
NewCAD Award level 2
This is an eight-week evening course for fashion designers who wish to develop CAD/CAM skills to support their own career development in the sector. The course introduces the software package Kaledo Style, used in the fashion sector to create technical drawings and presentational material for communicating with clients and manufacturers.

DRAWING FOR FASHION DESIGNERS
NewCAD Award level 2
This course will introduce students to basic fashion illustration, with an emphasis on live model sketching, flat sketching, and the development of the fashion figure. Students will work to develop their own illustrative style and will design simple collections and storyboards.

TREND AND FASHION FORECASTING
NewCAD Award level 2
Students will learn the basic theories of trend forecasting and how to apply this into their own work. They will work to develop their own trend forecasts, which they will produce in class. This will focus on silhouette, fabrics, colours, and accessories. Students will finish the course with a finished trend presentation.
