FashionCapital – the last 6 Months

The one-stop online resource for the fashion industry and specialist advice centre has recently experienced a record number of members join thus gaining a loyal following with the fashion community and style enthusiasts alike.

Also attracting the likes of monarchy of the e-tail kingdom asos.com its head buyers frequently visit Enter Croydon branch to select Fashion Enter designers to be showcased on the twice crowned online retailer of the year. The highly successful launch of FashionCapital designers on asos.com took place in May and since then further designers have been selected, beating all sales estimates. And it doesn't stop there as FC also act as a talent scout for high street giant Topshop.

Continuing the highly successful relationship with asos.com FashionCapital was recently able to take 35 London based fashion designers to showcase in New York City during Nolcha Fashion Week. The monumentally resounding success of the debut in the US resulted in three designers selected directly by the judging panel of asos.com buyers to feature on the site through Fashion Enter, and jewellery designer Ruthi Orlin has been asked to work on asos.com in house design team!

FashionCapital not only help designers reach new heights of success, but also endeavor to give hope, opportunities and make dreams a reality with individuals attending workshops and seminars and the Face of… competitions. FashionCapital prides itself on the integral work within the community of regeneration areas of Croydon and Barking and Dagenham. The Face of… saw the two lucky winners being flown over to New York to model on the catwalk of NY Profile – a fantastic opportunity that otherwise would never have been possible.

Over the past 6 months some major projects and initiatives have taken place resulting in some truly amazing outcomes and opportunities. With everything now in place the future certainly looks equally as promising!
