Jamelia Braves the Cold for Charity Press Release
15-12-2008

The Wolverhampton- based agency organised the open air shoot to raise money for The Princes Trust. Jamelia's signed photograph – styled and shot by Sapphire – will be one of a large collection of images of other celebrities, including Billy Boyd from Lord of the Rings, to be auctioned off next year.
The fund-raiser is being organised in partnership with Harvey Nichols Birmingham, who will host the auction in April 2009 at its luxury Mailbox store.
Neely Reyes, founder of Sapphires, said: ‘'Jamelia has spent a lot of time helping charities such as the Princes Trust, and we were thrilled she agreed to get involved in our photo-shoot. She was a true professional and fantastic to work with, despite having to pose in an evening dress in the freezing cold."
Sapphires has a number of other stars from the world of music and film in the pipeline, and for those who can't make the auction night in April there will be a strictly limited available on-line at eBay.
"The Princes Trust is a charity very close to my heart," continued Neely. "Sapphires was founded in 2006 with assistance from the Trust. We see this project as a fantastic way to give something back. We founded Sapphires with nothing more than a dream and a small loan, and we hope that through this project others will feel inspired to follow their own dreams. We are also delighted to be working with such a prestigious brand as Harvey Nichols – let's face it, that in itself is a dream come true."
Kevin Breese, General Manager of Harvey Nichols Birmingham, added: "This auction is already causing quite a stir and we are proud to be involved with such a worthwhile cause."
