19-12-2008

The Clothes Show

The Clothes Show Live first launched the most exciting and largest fashion and beauty event the world had yet seen back in 1989 in London. This incredible event attracted so many visitors that mounted police were called to manage the swarms of crowds. Since it's doors opened 20 years ago, consumer, buyer and press interest has never ceased and flocks of hungry shoppers have revisited the Birmingham NEC to catch a piece of the action, fabulous designer wear, and enjoy a day of well earned self pampering over the past two decades. A new era is now dawning and the return of the ultimate fashion and beauty event returns to the Fashion Capital, London!

The Clothes Show London runs from 29-31 May 2009 at London's ExCeL venue, the transformation into every girls favourite fashion and beauty haven will include a selection of the latest high street creations, designer and boutique brands, in which the FashionCapital.co.uk Boutique will make its debut as well as selections of hair and beauty products available to complete the ultimate day of preening perfection.

The Clothes Show

"We are delighted to be working with FashionCapital for Clothes Show London 2009. The FashionCapital Boutique at Clothes Show Live 2008 was a great success and it was fantastic to see such fruitful sales from designers such as Corset Art and Trollied Dolly who appeared to have sold out by the end of the show! At Clothes Show London, 29 – 31 May 2009, we are confident the 20 stands reserved for FashionCapital designers will see a positive return of investment and gain maximum exposure to visitors and press. On Wednesday 21st January I will be visiting the new head office in Kingston to provide designers with a complete overview of the Clothes Show London and illustrate how we can together really help maximise sales and press. I look forward to meeting as many designers as possible and introducing the show. I wish you all a fun and safe festive season with plenty of relaxation for the busy New Year ahead!"

Nicola Darling, Show Manager of Clothes Show London
