This week Art SPY previews the work of: Wendy Hermelin.  Wendy is a textile artist from Bridport in Dorset. Wendy produces wonderful textile wall hangings all inspired by the Dorset coast line. 

This artist uses a range of techniques to draw out movement within the artwork, she uses a means of machine embroidery with massed stitching, she also uses cut shapes which are then pieced together like quilting to give a softer tactile three dimensional result.
