Ruth, as with many artists in Dorset surrounded by the beauty of the South West Coat derives her art work from simply what she sees around her.  In this case it is in and around Portland.

The light in Dorset is said to be one of the best in the whole of England, with this wonderful light Ruth is able to paint and design interiors all inspired by views from her coastal cliff top studio/gallery.
