Leather jackets are universally associated with motorcyclists but is has always been common knowledge that if teamed with the right garments, a chic daytime and nighttime look can be achieved with this simple must have wardrobe staple.
The Leather Jacket is the most popular choice of outdoor wear this week; both men and women alike chose to sport the diluted biker look.

Leather jackets are extremely casual and suit all fashion demographics.
For men; teaming the jacket with an understated shirt or tee highlights the character of the jacket, which builds over time.
The best leather jackets appear to be incredibly worn and have deep set grooves worked into them which allow ease of movement as well as huge aesthetic appeal.

For women; fitted leather jackets are a must. They contour flatteringly to all body shapes and create a smooth silhouette.

Rock and Republic have opted for the close comfort leather appeal with their jackets fitting like a glove. Fur trims add further aesthetic appeal to the jackets whilst the structured armour look created for the men is just as pleasing.

Catherine Maladrino has generated a dark chic look; in teaming the leather jacket with solely black attire a mysterious midnight mistress amalgamates.
Y-3 have delivered a similar look, though in incorporating an accent colour with a good lustre the harshness of the look is counter balanced.
DKNY have also chosen to interpret the leather jacket; cropped, the jacket can be aligned with any number of outfits including a day dress which traverses night-time appeal seamlessly.
Temperley's example of the cropped leather jacket is equally as charming and this look demonstrates how versatile a garment it can be.

Diesel for women; have sent out excellently constructed jackets that sit well on the female frame – this jacket incorporates design feature well with the choice of fastening acting simultaneously as the embellishment; for men, Diesel have gone for the patent leather look which compliments the cut, shape and form of this theatrical jacket.
Marc by Marc also dabbled in patent leather to create this stylish bomber jacket.

Upper class leather appeal is what designers Jill Stuart and John Varvatos have in common; these leather jackets should seemingly only be teamed with prim and proper attire as they command respect and much wanted and deserved attention from those ever-present sidewalk fashion critics.

The leather jacket is undeniably a must have this season.
Providing excellent insulation in the colder months, whilst matching almost every outfit possible, ensures that the jacket ranks high on the style stakes.
