Cheam High Fashion Workshop


Fashion Enter taught 60 year 10 students about the different careers available in fashion and took them through the process of how an idea becomes a finished garment.

The usual business models were discussed including SWOT analysis and the 4 P's of marketing reinforcing their importance across all industries and incorporated into the creation of a mood board drawing inspiration from a range of resources such as magazines and newspapers.

The students split off into smaller groups ranging from 2 – 6 to start brainstorming and gathering images to consider when designing their own label. Key elements required at this early stage of the deisgn process included logos, strap lines as well as the four P's; price, product, promotion and place.

The students then presented their mood boards back to the class having been seperated into three groups from each a winner was selected and put through to the semi finals. The winning three teams then competed against each other in front of the entire group in a vote to win a selection of vouchers.
