Revival of the Leather Trend
03-09-2009
Long gone are the days of leather being associated with bikers only. Pulling off this trend from the past has been made even easier now with the more feminine styles starting to emerge.

From leather skirts, dresses, skirts, leggings and jackets you're bound to fell the urge to grab at least one leather item this season for your wardrobes. Go for a casual look by wearing a leather jacket, skinny jeans, t-shirt, boyfriend blazer for those brave enough and heels. Or go for a formal look with leather trousers, a fitted shirt and a waistcoat for a day at the office.
If the thought of donning a leather garment is too outrageous for you then why not opt for a stunning leather accessory such as a clutch.

Faux leather, as seen in collections by animal rights activist designer Stella McCartney, are a great imitation of the real deal, and tend to be much easier to wear; it doesn't stick to your legs as much!

Why only wear the usual black leather when there are other colours to choose from. Don't follow the crowd and instead opt to go for burgundy and brown leathers as well
