Beautiful Soul

Here’s a different background story of how this person fell into the fashion industry.

 

Whilst travelling the world with a friend, Nicola Woods had a mesmerising experience in Tokyo that convinced her to chase her life long dream to be a fashion designer.

 

Nicola graduated from The London College of Fashion in 2008 and after spending her summer designing clothes for a charity in South Africa, decided to set up her own fashion label called “Beautiful Soul”.

 

‘Beautiful Soul’ is an eco luxury fashion label which provides a creative, intelligent and open minded approach to design. The fashion label has gained more recognition after winning the Ethical Fashion Forum’s innovation award in February of this year and becoming a finalist at the Fashioning the Future summit in November 2008. ‘Beautiful Soul’ has also been chosen to present at ‘Estethica’, for London Fashion Week in a few weeks time.

 

Nicola believes that fashion sends out a message and is an influential tool which allows ‘Beautiful Soul’ to broaden awareness in favour of our planet. The label gives many people employment opportunity as training and motivation is provided, particularly for those within less privileged communities around the UK and the world.
