LFW: Burlesque Meets Buddha
22-09-2009
Offering a much needed respite from the crowded Fashion Week tent was an off-schedule lingerie presentation from ethical design label Enamore. Set in the decadent surroundings of the Buddha Bar guests were treated to Espresso Martini’s and burlesque performances.
The likes of Fifi Fatale, Violet Crumble and an assortment of models stripped off their trench coats to reveal pretty, vintage inspired underwear pieces ranging from delicate camisoles to bra and knicker combos. Perfect garb for modern day pin-ups, the show also featured matching jewellery and accessories designed and handmade by Catarina Vassalo along with beaded nipple tassels produced by Alice Holloway.

From polka dots to leopard print each and every piece was created from organic, sustainable and vintage fabrics as well as manufactured in the UK. Forget seasonal trends ‘You had me from Hello’ by Enamore was all about playful timeless classics that will brighten up boudoirs, and boobs for that matter, for years to come.
