Glebe School’s visit to Fashion Enter

 

Since then Fashion Enter has reunited with Glebe school with a tour of the Fashion Enter sites. Glebe School students had the chance to attend a seminar with Fashion Enter today to get an insight into the fashion industry. They were taken to Allders and given a seminar on the 4 marketing P’s (Product, Price, Promotion and Place). The itinerary for the day included a chance to review the concession stands at Allders; seeing and feeling the fabrics up close and personal.

  

 

  

 

Then came a tour of the Centrale Fashion Enter boutique in Croydon where Patrick Diyadu (Fashion Enter’s embroidery machine specialist) guided the students through specialist machines such as embroidery machines and wooden lasts (used in shoemaking).

  

The students were able to exercise their creative minds with a day packed of fashion related education, skills and practices.

A successful day opening fashion to the eyes of creative young minds!
