When the Victoria and Albert museum hosted the London College of Fashion Masters Catwalk show last Thursday the front row was as dazzling as the collections.The star studded guestlist included Jo Wood, stylish singers, Paloma Faith, Gabriella Cilmi, Mika and Keisha Buchanan – the ex Sugababe.

Style guru Nicky Haslam joined many fashion cult icons such as Grayson Perry and Jodie Harsh as well as a host of retail gurus – including a FashionCapital favourite Harold Tillman – owner of Jaeger, Aquascutum, and Chairman of the British Fashion Council.

The Catwalk collections were stunning and the winner of the student collection of the year award went to a chic menswear designer Sven Hoppe.

Its impossible to pick out another outstanding designer as all the collections were so varied and well compiled.
