British Designers Collective comments
01-05-2010

Over the last 5 weeks at the BDC we have been receiving some really great feedback from the LFW Designers. It is now coming to an end with Friday being the very last day of trading…These six weeks would have proved that a pop up shop is a great way to attract customers and an even better way to get LFW designers out there in the public domain. You don’t need to go to Bond Street for that matter…
Following the opening on 31sts March 2010 the BDC has exceeded all expectations and its been a real pleasures to work with the 25 LFW designers. The store closes on 7th May at 6 pm so make sure you grab those last few bargains. The initiative has been run by Value Retail the owners of Bicester Village in association with the British Fashion Council.
The six week selling period has clearly demonstrated that the concept of Pop UP Shops works and is a viable business model.
Fashion Enter would like to thank the LFW designers for their involvement and the comments received below.
In addition a large thank you to Value Retail for enabling the concept to commence – their attention to detail and foresight has been a credit to the industry. Thanks is also extended to the British Fashion Council for supporting the programme.
There will be a final summary next week when the store closes.

Dear Vanessa, Megan and Jenny,
It was lovely to meet the team and put faces to names, and thank you also for organising the launch party this morning. We really appreciate your help in supporting our brand going through to be a part of this exciting opportunity and we hope that this will be the start of a more permanent space championing the best of British design! I have posted some of our boutique postcards to the unit at Bicester Village by recorded delivery, and hope that this will be something useful for customers as a reference point.
If you need any further information or if we can help in any other way, please do get in touch!
Best regards,
