The All Women trend

It has been all over the autumn/winter catwalks. This trend is about showing off an hourglass shape with tiny waists and wide hipped skirts. This may not be a trend that you can wear out shopping but parts of it like the framed handbags and the tiny waist will be a part of your autumn/ winter 2010 look.

Designer Louis Vuitton showcased a variety of designs with pinched in waists and full hips. With long skirts and tight corset tops, all to embrace a woman’s curves. The look was completed by long leather gloves, velvet pumps, bee hive hair and a small framed handbag perfect for the 50s housewife. His colour palette was; greys, blacks and greens.

Prada showcased a collection of skirts and dresses and trousers in black, also with clinched in waists (mainly done by a leather belt). The designs were worn with heels, bee hive hair, geek chic glasses and a framed handbag.

Fendi also showcased a series of designs with full skirts and clinched in waists, in a colour palette of greys, blacks and the occasional yellow or green. The looks were completed by heeled shoes or boots, handbag and 50s styled hair.
Dries Van Noten showcased a series of dresses all with the familiar tiny waists and full skirts. Although he used bigger accessories, big black sunglasses, oversized crocodile skin bags and low heels.
