“We do not have signatures but rather a handwriting. We like to tell stories in different ways.”

Meadham Kirchhoff for Topshop
Edward Meadham and Benjamin Kirchhoff, the daring and dynamic duo behind Meadham Kirchhoff, are well known for their whacky wears. At London Fashion Week, their shows left attendees speechless after its spectacular showcase. Whether it’s the crazy flatforms or the rainbow haired models. Taking big, bold and brassy to a whole new level. The designers definitely take an out with the old and in the new approach to things.
It is to no-ones surprise that their latest collection is now TOPSHOP’s largest venture and definitely most adventurous design collaboration yet. The collection is said to be inspired by the idea of a band or gang which the duo named “The Cherry’s”. The overall venture was influenced by Marilyn Manson,The Spooky Kids, Kembra Pfahler and Glam Rock.
The duo commented on the collaboration: “It is an enormous and all encompassing collection which will offer a myriad of choice for any customer to adapt or reject as they see fit.”
The fictional Cherry’s in question are Cherry Cherie, Cherry Satanika, Cherry Pikka and Cherry Blosson. ‘The collection of rebels’ – each cherry embodies their own signature style.
The collection interprets a play on the irreverent femininity that the designers are known so greatly for.
The 89-piece collaboration ranges from plenty of glitter, cartoonish motifs and pastel faux fur-frills. Ruffle trims for the more extravagant bold customer, to navy camisoles and pleated pastel dresses for the more discreet. Aiming to offer a solution to every individuals style.
The collection hit stores on November 21st.
