About Karen:
After graduating with a BA in languages, Karen Levy joined her family business importing and merchandising fabrics from all over the world. She quickly learned the ins and outs of the trade and became involved in running all aspects of the business. Weaving, dyeing, wovens and knits all became her passion and she developed her natural skills in fabric and colour development. Karen’s extensive knowledge now covers every step of fabric production.
She also became involved in sales and presented and sold her ranges to both high street retailers as well as UK and European based garment manufacturers. She ran the business successfully for over 25 years gaining a wealth of industry experience and expertise.
Karen now offers her services as a fabric consultant and with her background, knowledge and experience she is able to provide a unique customized service for manufacturing companies and garment designers alike. She assists clients with sourcing, selecting and fabric development as well as creating customized colour palettes, along with simply advising on colour input and fabric solutions.
To put it in a nutshell, Karen is the link between the fabric manufacturer and the client and can provide the one stop solution to all your fabric needs.
