Textile designer – Kavel Rafferty, it’s all in the lines
12-01-2005
FashionCapital has pleasure in showcasing Kavel’s unique and stylish prints.
Kavel produces sophisticated illustrations and prints with a retro feel,
mounted on to architectural blocks. Combining printing techniques, drawing, found imagery, painting and collage to create moments in time. Kavel’s work is personal without being intrusive.
Looking at the banal and seeing beauty, making the everyday into something special. Kavel’s prints combine disparate images to make something new and exciting.
Kavel’s drawings are thoughtful and funny.
