Backed by the London Development Agency, Welsh Clothing and Textile Association and Haringey  Council, PROFILE also has the support of British Retail giants House of Fraser, Debenhams, Hobbs and new for this season, TOPSHOP, all combining efforts to offer establishing designers a rare, affordable opportunity to showcase their collections at this unique catwalk theatre event, to an audience of established buyers and accredited press.

Distinctly positioned between Graduate Fashion Week and London Fashion Week, PROFILE reinforces its continued commitment to support the next wave of young talent and pledge to the future of British fashion… the success of this initiative is now evident in store. Last season’s PROFILE 4 winning designers Luigi by Louis de Gama for House of Fraser, Cracked Corn for Debenhams and Ann Ann for Hobbs currently have their Spring/Summer 2005 collections going into these respective stores.

PROFILE takes on a streamlined format this season, with the spotlight on the catwalk theatre and retail award presentations for which the event is renowned, where up to thirty selected British womenswear, menswear and accessory designers will be showcased. In addition to the winners from each category having their Autumn/Winter 2005/2006 collections going into either House of Fraser, Debenhams or Hobbs, new to the event, TOPSHOP will also be presenting a New Designer Award with £5,000 prize.

Mens wear:- Sartorial Arts, Born in ’72, Emmy Collins London, Nunu Reiss and Field
Accessories:- Olivia Tawakkoli, Pijja, Actar Actar, Angel Jackson and La Modiste Modeste
