01-09-2005

This very exciting news came shortly after meetings with Amanda Burrows, Brand Director of Whistles, who Rebel Dogg were introduced to following a conference with Minister for Creative Industries, James Purnell MP – arranged by Jenny Holloway at the LFF.

“This is the best thing to happen to us since we started this company, we are just so delighted, we haven’t stopped grinning for weeks…” said Paulina of this significant development for the brand.

Known for its supportive attitude towards new designers, Whistles has proved to be just that in all its dealings so far with Rebel Dogg, who have undertaken to supply exclusive design collections for each season.

“This is such an important break for Rebel Dogg” says Paulina, “we feel confident that Whistles customers will love our products and we have our fingers crossed that this beginning will shortly lead to other high street retailers looking at our collections ”.

Rebel Dogg are adamant that the access to market afforded the brand through the LFF Bluewater boutique was key to this success:

“Our experiences at LFF Bluewater have allowed us to test our products on customers shopping in the same environment as Whistles and House of Fraser – this has been crucial in fine tuning our ideas and understanding our and Whistles’s customers”

It certainly looks like an interesting year ahead for Rebel Dogg!
