Last Chance to Enter Santa’s Ghetto

{mosimage}

Santa’s Ghetto is becoming the annual festive place to get your fix on street level free-for-all art. This time around the Ghetto features work from the likes of: 3D, Banksy, Jamie Hewlett, Sickboy, Chris Cunningham, Nick Walker, Polly Morgan and many more. Taking the serious mick out of Christmas and life in general it seems rather appropriate that Christmas Eve is the very last day to visit the makeshift store.

Sales Mania {mosimage}

Here at Fashion Capital we’ve been getting inundated with all the latest sales news. With so many pre-Christmas sales going on it feels like the discount season has hit us already. Word is that this winter sale is going to be one of the most competitive in years with discounts of at least half-price or more. Opening over the next week it seems UK bargain hunters will be spoilt for choice.

Check back next week for the latest on the Winter Sales.

Winter Clear-out

{mosimage}While we are on the subject of clear-outs why not have a clear-out of your own? TRAID and London Recycling have teamed up to stage a brand new campaign called ‘Suit into Loot Week.’ The scheme has already got under way and targets businesses across the capital. It takes just one e-mail or phone call for companies to get involved. Reps from the scheme will then distribute environmentally friendly collection bags to employees which they are requested to fill with wardrobe cast-offs, never worn – never will items and even those fashion disasters. A quick and effective way to recycle, contribute to charity plus organize yourself while you are at it.

The next ‘Suit into Loot Week’ will take place during the last week of January. The scheme is open to London businesses, not for profit organizations and local authorities of all sizes. Interested in getting involved? All you need to do is contact Kieron Colbert at London Recycling kieron.colbert@london-recycling.co.uk Telephone: 020 7511 8000 and they’ll do the rest.
