IT’S A LOOK: WHITE OUT

 

 

So what if summer is still months away, why not work it into your winter wardrobe and be the epitome of sophistication. Lets face it, when it comes to looking good who needs practical? Think Elle Macpherson and Liz Hurley in figure hugging white jeans. It may be winter but that is absolutely no excuse to throw out your style along with last year’s cowboy boots.

           

So we might not all be up to braving the sub zero temperatures in little more than a belt, a la Victoria Beckham, but for the less adventurous of us out there, there is a way to work the colour that says wealth best, into your wardrobe. Imagine how fantastic you’ll feel stepping out in a long winter white coat, with matching accessories or treating yourself to a gorgeous white cashmere jumper.

 

While white was a winner for winter it’s going to be white hot for summer too. We’re talking clean-cut, simple shapes and fuss-free detail. Look to designers Calvin Klein and Marc Jacobs for key pieces such as the little white dress and drainpipe jeans, and stock up on teeny white tees and cotton vests at Gap and Topshop. This is one trend that is in it for the long haul!
