What is FashionCapital?
05-09-2006
FashionCapital is a major tool for the fashion industry and provides the users out there with a voice. If you have queries then we try our hardest to answer the queries and at the least sign post you on to alternative companies for an answer. LFF has now ceased trading but the small team from LFF is working together; Hayleigh Amos, Vanessa Cameila and myself opened up another company on 1st April when LFF ceased trading. This company is called www.fashion-enter.com
The running cost of fashioncapital.co.uk is high and for the next two weeks there will be various strategy meetings to determine the way forward for the site. Our intention is to keep the main part of the site free for users and seek advertising revenue. It’s a dynamic site and the activity on the forums is amazing – a real achievement considering that the site has been left to run on its own steam for the last six weeks!
We are also setting in a communications channel too. In the past if you wanted to contact www.fashioncapital.co.uk the only way was to email London Fashion Forum. We are now organising a fashioncapital.co.uk email address that will comprise of info, sales, Ellie and yours truly!
We have already started to update the site, newsbites are complete today
and the forum has been blitzed too. More will occur over the forthcoming days. We do however want to hear about you and your business out there. If you want to write an article about what you do and who you are then we are happy to post this up for you PROVIDING that it is also informative. We will not allow blatent advertising on the site without permission.
We will keep you reguarly posted on developments and as always we want to hear from you and what you want to see. In the short term please use the Chat Forum and talk to us!!
This site is for the hundreds and thousands of little guys out there that really have the potential to become the big fashion players of tomorrow.
Also we provide vital networking contacts for the larger companies too.
After five years at the London Fashion Forum we have a very thorough understanding of the industsry and the importance of networking in such a diverse industry as fashion.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
