FDC Young Designers are launching for the first time this year a new category, T-shirt, into a flamboyant garment competition. This category has been designed to support and encourage those designers who have not yet acquired sewing skills, but are naturally creative.
The aim of FDC Young Designer Awards is to play a major part in pursuit of tomorrow’s fashion stars, who will feature their designs on the world’s top runways and front a Paris fashion house or their own million-pound brand in 10 years’ time. This event gives each designer the opportunity to showcase their talents to the audience. Key noted designers to watch out for include Kelly-Jade Nicholls, Jay Wilson and Gavin Douglas all of which are our award winners of the BFDN Young Designer Awards.
