Fashion or Fad: Nu Wave Rave

 

I have to admit even when the 2007 Vogue List cited Rave as the next cultural revival I remained sceptical; neon tones, hoodies and in-your-face graphics surely not! But a number of press previews down the line I have to say – they were right. The likes of TopShop and Miss Selfridge revealed plenty of clashing prints in acid shades and ravers of the nu-generation are already layering up stretchy bright Lycra with hoodies and tees.

 

 

For rave revival right now look no further than Tsubi, Cassette Playa, Y-3 and fashion editors current favourite – Christopher Kane.
