The Vikings are Invading!!

16-01-2007

{mosimage}Has anyone stopped to check the raiding activities of the Icelandic Investment firm Bawgur? Bawgur now has stakes in a cross section of UK fashion High Street clothing chains including House of Fraser, Oasis, Whistles and Karen Millen. They are now looking to buy a chunk of All Saints – which is a favourite store of Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle and other celebs.

{mosimage}All Saints has 49 shops and is based close to Spitalfields. It has successfully grown guided by Entrepreneur Kevin Stanford who also co-founded the Karen Millen fashion chain and is also an 8.3% shareholder in Bawgur.

Bawgur is also keen to develop into the menswear arena and was recently in talks with Moss Bros and USC, the branded chain owned by Scottish Entrepreneur Sir Tom Hunter.
