Last week we had our first online mentoring session which proved to be a big hit especially for textile designer – Caroline Wall. This is what Caroline had to say about it:

I would advise to get rid of any outside interruptions such as plumbers or workman who don’t realise you are having a vital mentoring session on line with Jenny! It is great to be able to speak with Jenny instantly and of course it being free without any high phone bills afterwards.
I would highly recommend you to get your webcams, earphones/speakers and microphones ready for the wealth of information and help that Jenny can provide.”
Too kind Caroline, but it was very much a two way mentoring session. I have to say that it’s almost daunting at first when you you start off with the mentoring session but then it’s easy. Catarina and Vanessa plus Yoel on admin where all there too but we centred on Caroline and her sepcific needs.
Interestingly we covered Carolines work two years ago on FashionCapital so doesn’t this also reflect how the site has moved with the times just as your career and business changes too!
