Adidas Hits Full Throttle
Calling trainer lovers far and wide please form an orderly queue – Adidas have done it again this time in collaboration with the super car rally Gumball 3000. Now in its 9th year, the Gumball 3000 rally kicks off in London on the 29th April which sees 120 cars speeding their way around 9 European countries before racing back towards the finish line on Pall Mall. Talk about putting your foot down, apparently that’s exactly what these trainers are geared to do; streamlined with extended tread over the heel all you need now is a sexy pair of leather driving gloves and you’re off.

Kane in the Rain
{mosimage}Christopher Kane has made such an impact on the fashion pack that it’s hard to believe it was only a year ago he was putting on his MA show. These days, it seems, everyone wants a dose of Kane, from TopShop to Versace. Keeping his design options open Kane recently collaborated with car company Vauxhall to create a rather striking umbrella. Rainy days have never looked so good. What’s Vauxhall – a car company, got to do with it you may well ask? Well, Kane along with various other designers from the worlds of fashion, film, design etc have been brought together to produce a range of collaborative and stand alone design projects. His unique umbrellas with transparent canopy and crystal-like raindrop pattern costs £30 – a piece of Kane without breaking the bank. Kane said of the project, “It has been a pleasure to collaborate with Vauxhall again. I love umbrellas and wanted to design something beautiful but still functional for people to use daily. The design comes from a dream I had – raining diamonds. I hope people love it as much as I do.”

Coming Soon…Kyzar Chic
As you may well know Style Addict is fond of the odd fashionable soiree or two and a new monthly hosted by Kyzar Chic looks promising. Kyzar Chic is all about giving new talent a much needed platform in a relaxed, networking environment. Due to debut on Thursday the 26th April at 24 Kingly Street, the initial installment includes: Entertainment by Couture Clubbing, a fashion presentation of Jerry Ribbon’s A/W 07/08 collection and an after party to chinwag, make contacts, and perhaps, down a few drinks.

The Osman & Jenne Gallery
Osman Yousefzada and Jenne O have created a lethal combination with their new gallery. Whether its killer cuts from Osman or fantastically fetishistic heels from Jenne the fashion pack are sure to believe they have died and gone to heaven.
