Q Plastique – what can we expect to see/read in the first issue?
EGJ In the first issue we have the following…..
Exclusive unseen images of the Rolling Stones; an interview with Christophe Lemaire, creative director of Lacoste; we get to know the kids behind the current McQ campaign, cast solely via MySpace; drag queen du jour, Jodie Harsh gets up close and personal with her icon, Amanda Lapore; plus a personal couture show diary from writer, Bee Blundell-White. Our ‘Plastique People’ section celebrates those unsung hero’s we feel need some recognition! We introduce our columnist and girl-about-town, Daisy Lowe, with personal images and account of her recent 18th birthday, and our music editor, the highly esteemed rock writer and critic, Simon Price. Shoots by Ram Shergill, John Lindquist, David Dunan, and more. Our art is by award winning design team, Studio 8, responsible for Zembla magazine
{mosimage}Q The publishing world is incredibly competitive what makes Plastique different to the huge range of mags that are already out there?
EGJ PLASTIQUE is very much London in its soul, yet unlike many London-centric publications we refrain from remaining provincial and blinkered. Consciously eschewing the done-to-death ‘Hoxton’ scene, PLASTIQUE has an international outlook. PLASTIQUE dedicate sections to beauty, hair and jewellery, not something typically associated with style magazines. We bridge the gap between luxury, opulent glossy and edgy, urban magazine.
