If you have a passion for fashion design and are based in the West Midlands then the PIN competition could be just for you. Whether you are new to design, a fashion student or an individual bursting with ideas – alternatively if you are an established designer, designer maker or a design led manufacturer – the PIN competition has two levels of entry.
The prize: 12 finalists, 6 from each category will produce their collection of 6 to 8 pieces to be shown at a major catwalk event in Birmingham in January 2008. From this event 2 winners will be chosen, 1 from each category. Each winner will receive £10k in prize money, extensive media coverage, city centre retail profiling and business and PR support.
