The Young Enterprise Programme Fashion Show

 

 

Each designer showed their final pieces on models to an audience of friends, family and peers.  The cameras were rolling and the audience truly impressed with the unique urban style garments being strutted on the stage.  We were not surprised to discover that orders have been placed already. 

 

 

The designers were a true inspiration, knowing what difficult backgrounds some of them had come from it really was an awe-inspiring event to see their hard work and creativity materialize into such a successful outcome.

 

 

 

 

The individuals that took part were able to experience first hand the whole design process from start to finish and the realities of working in the fashion industry, something they may not have been able to experience without this project. It has now given them something to strive for in life and the belief that they can succeed. Who knows we may have discovered the next Alexander McQueen!

 

 

Pieces created by the YEP designers will be stocked in Enter Boutique from mid-August, so be warned, if you want something truly unique you’ll have to get it before it goes.
