Colures Magazine Launch By Yolande Letshou



Colures magazine is an upmarket glossy publication aimed at style conscious and intelligent women of colour. “It is chic, intelligent, contemporary and, full of interesting articles that go beyond ‘black-related’ features”. For those who have not yet come across Colures magazine can get hold of a copy at Borders, Selfridges and Harrods retailed at £3.75.




Upon arrival all attendees received a fabulous goody bag containing a complimentary copy of the mag and a selection of afro-hair products from Soft Sheen Carson, a well renowned afro hair product brand. The ambiance throughout the evening was extremely pleasant with designers, models, photographers and journalists all mingling on both floors of the extravagant venue.

Being a professional woman of colour myself I was overall very impressed with the quality and content of the magazine as a whole. It has most definitely achieved its mission successfully. The Fashion pages are filled with innovative designers such as Zed Eye and Elisha Francis. Editor Ann Marie Broadhead describes: “We have beautiful fashion stories to inspire you in our fashion section and timeless images”.

Amongst the attendees of this successful event included Britain’s Next Top Model’s Sarah Butler, supermodel Rachel Ritfield, actress and singer Alicia Douvall, designer Georgette Williams of GW, Flaunt Managing Director Amelie Lafond, model and jewellery designer Elisha Francis and many more.
