‘Voluptuous is In’… Now more than ever!
19-03-2008
Despite the fearful rise of size zero we are now seeing an over riding rise in women with big busts.
Particularly British boobs…it would seem that with each new generation a larger breast is born as is larger accommodating bra's, that are wait for it… not Driving Miss Daisy-esque!! That's right you can embrace your breasts and still feel sexy with some fabulous up-to-the-minute designs available nationwide.
The average bust size in the UK to date is 36C, but with it being only a decade since the average was 34B, how big will they come to be in the next decade or two?
So it's not our imaginations ladies, breasts are in FACT getting bigger by the second… And before you say it "of course they are, everyone's having them enhanced now days," that is not the case – we are talking about natures blessings to our bosoms.
But with this growth has come a pretty major boost in the bra department. With most women having to get there bra's made especially for them usually resulting in a not so flattering, extremely un-sexy piece that scream dull old plain Jane!
The issue being if we wanted to refrain from a saggy chest, we need wider straps and structured supported bras that are unembellished as they would give un-desired bulges.
We can all sigh with relief as highly established names such as;
M&S – Have updated and increased their range by three sizes – bringing them to a J cup!
Panache – Go up to a size 38K and are available at http://www.figleaves.com/ and http://www.bravissimo.com/
Lejaby – Go up to a double J! And are also available at http://www.figleaves.com/ and http://www.bravissimo.com/
They have opened us up to stylish sets that give ample support and leave us with plenty of fashion credit!! Launching lingerie, big breasts and curves in a whole new direction.
M&S (the first high street brand to meet this somewhat huge demand) – quotes to the Daily Mail "we noticed a definite trend among younger women needing a larger cup size. But these sizes are hard to come by, and up till now women had to seek out specialist fitters to get their bra's custom made," says Suzie Jenkins, head of M&S lingerie design."

Also merits to those designers bringing sexy back evidently by kicking the embryonic smocks, and tunics that have unfortunately ruled the fashion stakes of late and re-emerging with tailored garments, and plunging necklines that were made for curvy women.
Let's hope this diversity continues, if not make like Kelly Brook (32E), opt for 1950's fashion where curves were all the rage and adored by all. You could browse the many evolving vintage stores for garments complimenting of an hourglass silhouette (a look never lost by the A-list!), just because we have a little more to us doesn't mean we have to sacrifice on looking and feeling good…. So remember don't hate your breasts… love, enjoy and embrace them along with the exciting new creations coming our way.
