ANITA’S VINTAGE FASHION FAIR…

10-04-2008

On Sunday 6th April 2008 I ventured to the super trendy west end… the home of the 20th Century Theatre: 291 Westbourne Grove, Notting Hill, London, W11

vintage fairFor a bargain £4 I was released into a world of wonders! The pleasure I gain from a spectacular find is ever more satisfying with it comes with a story. Vintage fashion offers personality & history along with great fashion style you just can't buy off the high street!

Anita's Fashion Fair offered some 60plus stands, all bubbling with variety & panache… Surrounded by sparkling jewel encrusted accessories, silk printed scarves & unmistakably gorgeous dresses a plenty… I was simply in awe of the beauty!

It was nothing but a joy to be under the same roof as some of the world's top designers of the past. With happy, smiley sellers eager to tell you more & share their fascination of the art of fashion, an experience you really won't get from your local Topshop!

Discovering an endless choice of collectable garments… I spotted a 1960's Christian Dior dressing gown as well as a retro (and yet ever sooo now) floral dress from Liberty's. Reminding me how fantastic it is that fashion repeats itself, but not in a boring recurring way, more so a re-birth of successful style!

………….I'll definitely be returning!!
