Update your summer dress, there's more than one way to wear your favourite wardrobe outfit, here are a few ideas to get you started on the ‘dress' shopping spree…

Frills;
Perfectly ideal for an evening party or dinner with friends, Frills give every shape that extra something. For people with a skinnier waist and smaller chest, as seen in the photo of Rosie, the frills really do create an illusion of bigger boobs especially when worn around the chest area, the waistline will look curved as well if the dress has frills appointed around the front as a patterned effect. The floral design adds a summery feel to the dress which is perfect to set the mood for dinner on a warm evening.

Stripes;
Beautifully designed for those with longer legs, to give them the ultimate tall look, also recognised as the maxi dress, yet fashionable shorter as worn by Charlotte in this photo. Having the cropped elastic section around the chest allows the rest of the dress to flow and create a casual yet fashionable look, excellent for a day out or a relaxing day in.

Polka dot;
Whether the plan is a picnic, wedding, work or cocktail party, polka dots are comfortable to wear for every occasion. Especially for those with a bigger bust and broad shoulders, dresses like the one I am wearing in this photo exactly suit my measurements. Polka dots come in all sizes, and last throughout the summer months long into the autumn; you can dress it up and dress it down, a perfect outfit for not only every occasion but for all the seasons as well.

Checked dresses are perfect for a bit of a vintage look.

Add any major accessory to a plain dress to make it original this summer.

Tie dye may have been last year's summer look, but this year looks fabulous as a maxi dress.
After finding the perfect dress, (or dresses!) time to add in those killer heels for a bit of edge and you're ready for summer!
