Luxor, her new name, originated from Italy but studied fashion at Chelsea. These were the days of Bibba and Mary Quant and Luxor was up there with them all. The days when fashion was fun and exciting and not pretentious as it is today.
Luxor explained "Every piece of cloth is of beauty and its up to the desginer to see the beauty and make the garment that is right. I have seen wild days of fashion and today many rock stars come to see me and review my wonderful mix of clothes. Fashion has become too serious and everyone is scared to be themselves – this is not what fashion is about – its art and being liberated."
The boutique was an expanse of creativity – there were fabrics from all over the world and every type of garment your heart could desire. Inspiration was abound in every crook and crany of the boutiique on 414 West Broadway, New York, 10012
