Eco Sensitive

At the very forefront of technology in the textile industry and dedicated to further research, Eurojersey established its business in the 60's at present operational production centre in Caronno Pertusella in the outskirts of Milan. Over the past decade, the company had invested in refined technological machinery and software to achieve adequate promotion of efficient management large scale integrated production of its Sensitive fabrics range, including knitting, dyeing and even printing.

Eurojersey launched a comprehensive environmental policy in 2001 to achieve eco-sustainable business stature, succeeding in significant reductions of consumption and waste in the production cycle. This was the guidelines set for the emergence SensitiveEcosystem, an ambitious "green" programme defining the new Eurojersey epoch, where its notable dedication to retaining sustainability of its business places it at the revolution of the warp knit textile industry worldwide. Careful to encompass every aspect of the whole Sensitive product lifestyle involves every employee in active partaking in the objective to support and inspire responsible awareness of their social behavior.

Resource management is a key factor in corporate processes and the behavior of all individuals; Eurojersey embrace this challenge and attempt to tackle every day to encourage invariable all round enhancement.

Wind Farm

Energy efficiency and saving water

From 2008, in its new plant, warehouses and offices, Eurojersey committed itself to using only energy derived exclusively from renewable sources – wind, water and sun. Moreover, Eurojersey has invested in the construction of its own solar energy plant. As Alessandro Colombo, member of the SensitivEcosystem team explained:

As of 2008, Eurojersey have committed all workstations to merely use renewable resources to generate energy i.e. water, wind and sun. In addition to this, Eurojersey has invested in creating its own dedicated solar energy plant. The latest proposal to cementing its eco faced company really has enforced its "green commitment" and has been installed on a purpose built iconic canopy in the interior parking area with capabilities of producing 20,000 kWh per annum.

Solar Panels

The whole Eurojersey initiative prides its reputation on the commitment to salvaging excess energy and reducing overall waste consumptions in water, industrial waste and more involved in the production cycle. For this purpose the company has installed a state of the art HRS fume cleaning plant. Using decreased volumes of water, the plant can ensure efficient recovery of heat via the fume cleaning process. The heated water retrieved is recycled in the production cycle and heating system for the new manufacture and quality control section.

Although these methods and advances on sustainable technology for waste and energy seem somewhat expensive, we can all incorporate standards of eco friendly and recycling into our business on a lesser scale and head for a better future.
