FashionCapital designer, Simon Wang is hitting the big time over in his homeland of Shanghai following appearances in major publications including: Vogue, Elle magazine, Harpers Bazaar, Ilook, Figaro, the Bund, That’s Shanghai, South China post, Daily China, Shanghai TV, ICS Channel and CNN international. Wang has a strong presence in the UK as one of our leading e-tailers, and a best seller at ASOS.com.
The recent international and local press, in Lieu of his well received début showing last year in 2009 at Shanghai fashion week, has since seen the designer become the ‘darling’ of Shanghai fashion scene.
Most recently Wang has been developing for the European and American markets. Wang is most loved for his tailoring which is always infused with a touch of the designer’s charisma translating into wearable pieces that are classically tailored with an extravagant flavour.
Simon commented ‘I have been working with Jenny and the team at Fashion Enter since 2001 and they are always there for me. They are my UK agents and already we have had some excellent orders rolling in. 2010 will be better still I know it!’
