Latest on London Fashion Week

08-02-2011

Tom Ford is set to join the exciting line-up for London Fashion Week 2011. The designer will show his second womenswear collection after the debut in New York last September where he opted for a small intimate presentation attended by important figures in the industry and modelled by his own celebrity friends such as Beyonce, Daphne Guinness and Julianne Moore. Let’s hope it’s the same in London.

Ford is expected to showcase his Autumn/Winter collection to only a small number of international monthly magazines, key editors and press and sales appointments. Like last season show images are tightly sealed so we may have to wait to see the pictures.

David Koma has styled only the most glamorous celebrities including Cheryl Cole and Beyonce but now we have the luxury of his designs at Topshop, just in time for London Fashion Week.

Koma is to launch his collection online and exclusively to Topshop on Oxford Street, London next week. The designer, born in Georgia and only 25, is to design a five-piece capsule collection for Topshop but only for a limited run. Just thirty of each piece of clothing will be created, making this line very much collectable so get ready ladies!

His signature body-con dresses has been seen on many celebrities and now we can have a taste of the sensational style. The collection ranges from a low back dress, a sleeveless dress with a plunging neck line, a mini skirt and a belt and prices range from £100 to £350.
