The Sound of London Fashion Week

 

The album series began in September 2010 to celebrate London Fashion Week and the link between fashion and music through the Bazaar Fashion Arts Foundation and music partner, Sony Music.

Williamson chose some of his favourite tracks to go on the compilation including a range of varieties from electro-pop to rock to soul music and familiar artists such as Kelis and Roisin Murphy. He’s picked new bands such as Best Coast and Oh Land. He has also added some of his own tracks he’s discovered throughout his music profession.

The artwork for the album has been designed by Matthew Williamson himself with a colouful photo of a plam tree. The highly collectable package will contain the must-have CD and eye-catching photography.

The compilation will be available after London Fashion Week on 28^th February nationwide from iTunes, Amazon, HMV and selected contemporary fashion boutiques. There will also be a limited number of albums on sale this week in Matthew Williamson stores and online at www.matthewwilliamson.com.
